PACKERS: Favre May Get To Compete?

Green Bay Packers General manager Ted Thompson clarified his comments made earlier Saturday morning, saying that the idea that Brett Favre could only return as Rodgers’ backup was “misinterpreted,” acording to the Wisconsin State Journal

BOTTOM LINE: The most likely scenario here seems to be that Favre will stay in Green Bay and compete for the starting role, which he would eventually win. He should still be a top six or seven fantasy quarterback.
